  • Please bring your presentation files on a USB drive one day before your presentation to avoid congestion. Presenters of the first day should hand over their files to the technician as soon as they arrive.
  • Presenters will not be allowed to use personal laptops to avoid problems with computer-projector compatibility.

Allocated presentation time

  • Please check your presentation schedule and session on the website.
  • It is important that you arrive at your session room at least 10 minutes before the start of session to make sure that everything is prepared for your presentation.

According to the presentation type, the allocated presentation time is different. Please refer to the time standard below;

  • Plenary Lecture: 35 min. (30 min + 5 min Q&A)
  • Oral Presentation: 20 min (15 min for presentation + 5 min for Q&A)

Please find the details of your session on the website, and ensure that the length of your presentation matches with the time available to you as indicated above. Chairs have been asked to be strict in all of our sessions about time compliance to avoid over-run.

Presentation equipment

  • Presenters will be able to control their presentation slides by using a keyboard, mouse or wireless remote pointer at the podium.
  • Our staff will be present in each session room to assist with any technical issues.

General poster presenter guideline

Presenting a poster is a great way to visually share your research work and expertise with a wide range of delegates who are interested to learn about what you have done and also give you positive feedback. The guidelines below give you some tips to help you design and develop your poster and how to display it for presentation at our event. All posters will be displayed in Gömb Aula at the Venue.

Poster presentation schedule

  • Posters should be affixed and removed by the presenters themselves in time. All posters will be on display throughout the whole conference from P-01 to P-68. Posters should be mounted from the time of registration, on 29 August and they have to be removed latest during the last coffee break on 30 August.
  • ODD numbered posters will be presented on Thursday (Poster discussion I.) between 17:00-18:00
  • EVEN numbered posters will be presented on Friday (Poster discussion II.) between 16:45-18:00.

Poster preparation

  • Poster Size: A0 Size (portrait oriented, 841 mm width x 1189 mm height) Failure to follow this requirement will mean that the poster will not fit on the allotted board.
  • The poster title, author(s)’s name(s) and affiliation(s) should appear on the top.
  • Posters should be readable to viewers from 1 meter away. For legibility, a minimum font size of 24 points is recommended.
  • Keep logos discrete and to a minimum.
  • The preferred poster background is plain to ensure legibility.
  • Before sending to print do not forget to proof read the poster yourself, and ask someone else to do the same, checking also for clarity.
  • Posters should be affixed to the poster boards using pins. Our staff will provide supplies on-site.

We thank you for your contribution to the Conference.
We look forward to seeing you in Budapest.
