We are delighted to invite PhD students to apply for the Hungarian Biochemical Society (HBS) Grant for participation at: Biochemistry Without Borders 2026: Annual Meeting of the Hungarian Biochemical Society 26–28 August 2026, Debrecen, Hungary
Grant Details
- Successful applicants will receive:
- free conference registration for the full duration of the meeting
- accommodation for 2 nights in a shared room
Eligibility Criteria
The grant is open to PhD students.
Applicants are required to submit:
- a short CV
- a publication list
- a Letter of Intent
- their current research topic
- their motivation for attending the conference
- how participation in the meeting would support their scientific and professional development
- why the conference topics are relevant to their research interests
- The Letter of Intent should not exceed 1 page.
- In the Letter of Intent, applicants should briefly describe:

Applicants are also required to register for the conference through the official registration system. However, the registration fee should not be paid before the grant decision is announced.
